Master Hou (豊老師, Hou-Roushi) is a teacher at the Daigaku that Rakushun attends in En. He takes note of Rakushun's achievements, and confers on him the nickname "Bunchou". The master also dispells various rumours about students who are unable to graduate because of the age they entered the daigaku or how well they did on the entrance exam.
