Sankou of Kei
The Sankou (三公, Three Lords of Court, Three Advisors) consists of the Taishi, Taifu, and Taiho (not to be confused with the kirin's title Taiho (台輔)). These three people serve and assist the Saiho and educate the ruler, but do not hold political power in the court. Their primary role is to serve as advisors to a kingdom's monarch.
- Taishi (太師) — Serves as the Lord of the Privy Seal. Translated as Grand Preceptor by Tokyopop.
- Taifu (太傅) — Serves as the Minister of the Left. Translated as Grand Mentor by Tokyopop.
- Taiho (太保) — Serves as the Minister of the Right (右大臣). Translated as Grand Guardian by Tokyopop.
