Talk: Taiki

This sentence in the article doesn't make sense to me: "Eventually Sanshi and Gouran start to go wild and begin killing everyone who gets close to Taiki, mistaking them for enemies." Do you mean killing people in Japan? If so, then Sanshi and Gouran must know where Taiki is. In that case, why don't they try to bring him back, as Sanshi (at least in the anime) did before? If this means in the Twelve Kingdoms instead of Japan, then it also doesn't make sense, since Taiki is not there and so they can't be "close to him". Please clear up the meaning of this sentence.
